Hi my name is Rachael. My journey with yoga began over 20 years ago. I have studied and become certified in various styles of Yoga as well as Yoga Therapy. As my knowledge deepened I came to see yoga as something far beyond the mat – it became a way of life.
With the intention of seeking to offer Reiki healing in classes I was guided to Kundalini Yoga & Meditation. Following this path and it’s teachings felt natural and in that moment I knew I had found my calling.
Through my own daily practice and rituals, I’ve experienced deep inner transformation. This path inspired me to create Inner Temple — a space to pause, reconnect, and listen to your inner guidance. An offering for those seeking to return to themselves and nourish their inner world.
I hold a gentle space for movement, breath and stillness and I look forward to meeting you.
Kundalini Yoga is often called the “yoga of awareness”. It’s a deeply transformative practice that combines breathwork (pranayama), movement (kriyas), chanting (mantra), and meditation to awaken energy within the body.
Unlike other yoga styles that focus mainly on physical postures, Kundalini Yoga focuses more deeply on the inner experience—connecting with your higher self, tuning into intuition, and cultivating a deep sense of peace, presence, and vitality.
Kriya (sequences of movement) – A specific sequence of breath and movement breath designed to awaken energy and bring balance to body and mind.
Pranayama (breath work) – guided breath work to help you feel calm, clear & centred.
Mantras & Chanting – The use of sacred sound which is deeply calming for your nervous system. When you chant, especially with a steady rhythm and sound like “Ong” or “Sat Nam,” you stimulate the vagus nerve, which helps activate your body’s relaxation response.
Relaxation – A pause to integrate the practice, release tension, and experience inner peace.
Meditation – Each class closes with a Kundalini meditation using techniques such as breath, mantras, mudras to support presence, regulate the nervous system and restore balance.
Each class is a gentle invitation to reconnect with yourself. No experience is needed and beginners are warmly welcomed. You’ll be guided in a way that encourages turning inward, listening to your body and moving at your own pace.
Regular practice of Kundalini yoga offers many benefits including:
✨ Improved flexibility and strength
✨ Increased awareness of self and others
✨ Enhanced energy and vitality
✨ Balances the nervous system
✨ Reduced stress and anxiety
✨ Emotional balance
✨ Improved focus, clarity and mental calm
Not at all. Each class is a gentle invitation to reconnect with yourself. No experience is needed, and beginners are warmly welcomed. You’ll be guided in a supportive way that encourages you to turn inward, listen to your body, and move at your own pace.
